"Rarely does a hotel meet my level of cleanliness, but this perfect little inn exceeded my expectations. First impression was that the lobby was pretty fragrance free. Many boutique hotels pump a nasty perfume into the air and this inn's lobby only had a slight smell of coffee from the shop next door. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't use the gym as it was a later check-in and early check-out.
Room was charmingly decorated, clean, comfortable, and quiet - down to the little details. Quiet - no ice dispenser, but near the elevator was a little chest freezer with mini bags of ice, so didn't have to listen to people filling up their ice buckets at random times. Clean - no dust on the baseboards or dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom floor. The only hint of dirt was near the door knob on the inside of the bathroom door which is overlooked by most hotel housekeeping. Comfortable - beds were extremely confortable. Bedding and towels were not washed in fragranced detergent and the room didn't have a scent. Charming - classic southern charm feel and well maintained, quality furniture and modern appliances. Outlets/charging stations where needed and bonus - I didn't have to run around the room 5 times to figure out how to turn the lights off.
Only got to stay one night, but I wish I had been able to stay longer as it was, by far, the best hotel on my trip. Would stay here again and again."
