"Excellent hotel in a great location. A few small changes would make every category a 5star....the TV isn't located to easily view while sitting on the sofa; a more central placement would allow people to use the sofa and watch while in bed. Also, there was no bathroom ventilation, so it quickly got steamy making it difficult to get ready. And there should be eighter a bathroom nightlight or a dimmer - turning the light on to use the facilities at night resulted in waking the whole room. "

"We loved our stay. This was our third time staying at Ainsonbourgh Inn. They are doing renovation on the building but that was not a problem for us. The location is very convenient and walkable. We love the building and the helpful and friendly staff. We plan to stay here on our next trip to Charleston. "

Roosevelt helped made sure our luggage was safe and secure, the front desk people that we got the right room, the housekeeper lady that we had everything, the restaurant servers as well wonderful and so were all the valet guys. "We really enjoyed our stay, the pool was very nice and clean - lots of towels and amenities. We did have to go down at 8am to save chairs, but it’s like that at all resorts it seems. Our room was nice, it was clean and quiet. We brought our small dog and there were lots of nice paths to take him on walks. We did not eat at the resort, but the facilities looked nice. We didn’t have much interaction with the staff, but who we did see was pretty nice. We would come back for sure. "

"The Tides is situated right on the beach. Great views from all of the rooms. Nice restaurant on site. The staff was exceptional. Very welcoming and attentive. The room was good. Clean and plenty of room. The slider doors are older. Didn’t slide very well and the UV protection film bubbled here and there. But overall, great place to stay. Walkable to several good restaurants. Easy drive to Charleston and the airport. "
