"The room was very clean and had everything you would need. While waiting for our room in the common area, there was cereal and other debris on the carpet which looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed recently. Otherwise, the overall cleanliness was good."

"We loved our stay at this hotel! The bed was the most comfortable one we’ve had at a hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The grounds were beautiful with a nice patio area outside where we ate breakfast. Breakfast was great, and there was even homemade banana cake. A favorite of ours was the coffee machine open 24/7 that made coffees, cappuccino, etc."

"We had an ok stay, we stay all over the place and unfortunately we found this property a little run down, the bed terribly uncomfortable and the room dark and unappealing. We did book last minute and it was a holiday weekend so the price drew us in. Won’t choose this place again, the breakfast was in a brown bag and the pool was pretty beat up!"

"Balice & Emily were wonderful upon check in. Balice has others best interest at heart. Balice gave us a room on the 4th floor with a view of the rolling hills. Thank you Balice. The amenities were great. Swimming pool is large. Hot tub very comfortable. Ended with a sauna, it was so clean. ♥️"

"Positives - lovely room, beds were comfy, gentleman at the front desk and kitchen aid were helpful, the grounds were beautifully kept, and breakfast was great. Negatives- room wasn't ready at our arrival time of 4:30 p.m., when we went to take our showers around 7:30 p.m., we had to call the front for towels and after 30 minutes one of us went to the front desk and ask for towels and were told they were in the dryer, when housekeeping came to our room while we were out, they left the door ajar...

"This is a great location and a beautiful historic building. Love it, will stay again."

"Classic case of you get what you pay for. Rooms were small. We had 2 double beds. 1 right against the wall and the other right against the ac. The ac grill was all smashed in. Killed 2 ticks in the bathroom. A group of people stood outside their room late at night smoking which filtered into our room through the ac and door. Room smelled of old smoke. We chose this hotel for price and pool. Unfortunately the pool was not working as well."
