"The lady who owns and runs Chabela Host, is quite literally the nicest woman in the world. My room and bathroom were super clean, she gives plenty of blankets, there is hot water with decent water pressure, and she provides a breakfast at your request. I’m only sorry, I couldn’t stay longer. The place is a little hard to find from the street. "Incredible hospitality and views of the city of Cusco were the highlights of the hostel for me. The staff works hard to create a very comfortable and welcoming environment, and are happy to help with any requests you might have. The included breakfast is lovely and eating it on their porch overlooking Cusco cannot be beat. I'll be recommending this hostel to any friends that visit Cusco."

"This place honestly looks like it should be condemned. It was disgusting. The walls are peeling, there were 4 different types of flooring in each room, and the bedding and towels were stiff. I checked for bed bugs because the place looked so bad. I’m happy to report there were none. With each step we took, we were afraid our feet would break through the floor, it was incredibly squeaky and uneven. The outlets were inconveniently located. "Gorgeous property, we loved all of the animals (dogs, cats, and a baby alpaca). The staff was genuinely kind and helpful in scheduling taxis for us. The courtyard is so nice! The water pressure in the shower was hit or miss, but everything else about this hotel was a hit and we loved staying here."
