"There was both good and bad about this property. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the wine and cheese social each evening was nice. The room had wallpaper coming off the wall and the shower doorlwas very hard to open and close without scraping the glass causing a loud noise each time. The restaurant was below average and the check-in and check-out process was poor. They sent a pending charge of $3,000 at check-in on a final bill of around $1200. "Great hotel. Second time here. My only regret, is that I didn’t know they were remodeling, and the pool was closed."

"Very clean hotel with attentive staff in a perfect location. Kimberly, at the front desk, was very helpful though she could use the help of a concierge. Not an easy task to wear both hats but she balanced both. Izzy was lots of fun at the bar. I had a small issue and Kristen and the rest of the staff more than made up for it. My only negative is that the shade in my room really needed replacing as it was held together with large safety pins, and kind of an eyesore. Would definitely return."

"The breakfasts were very nice. A variety of styles form full to fruit. The “butler” they push so hard just seems to be a normal hotels room service. Call the desk and they send someone up. Our bathroom was very minimal. A single sink with no vanity top space. We were giving an assisted room. No idea if that made a difference. The room was fairly plain. They have a bar they promote, but we normally ended up across the street at a very popular bar. The location is good. No one helped us...

"We were disappointed in general. We were welcomed by a receptionist who seemed bothered by our presence. Our room did not meet our expectations considering the price when compared to other boutique hotels we have stayed in. Scrimping on little things like falling apart toilet paper, not enough shower soap, dustballs on the floor and a noisy in wall air conditioning unit were disappointing. "We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great."
