The staff was simply outstanding. Every single person working in the hotel - front desk, doormen, bartender, cleaning staff - was friendly, outgoing, kind and attentive. We will definitely stay here again!

Charming historical building remodeled as a quaint hotel within 15 mins walk from the museums. Rooms are small and dated but the staff is wonderful who provided excellent service. We’re light sleepers and asked for a quiet room. Our room was on 3rd floor facing the street. First night was completely ruined from construction and police siren noise. Staff was responsive and moved us to another room for the second night. But we could still hear the police car sirens. Should’ve packed earplugs and sleep meds. Suggest that the owners consider noise proofing exterior walls and windows and adding coffee machine and smart feature on TV. Metro is great and cheap in DC. Next time, we plan to stay in the suburb, away from the noise, near a metro station.
