The Henley Park Hotel

"Wonderful stay. Although only one night thoroughly enjoyed Restaurant was fine as well as the bar. Doorman informed us that street parking was free. saving us about 60 dollars"

"My son lives in The Witmer, and this is where I always stay when I visit. This was the WORST experience ever. I booked a King bed, on an upper floor the previous week, and paid in Full. I was unable to pre check-in on the Ap so I called, and called, and called. No one picked up the phone. When I arrived at 9:00 pm, they had given my room away. The woman at the Front Desk was extremely RUDE to me and said they were sold out. After a very long wait, I was given a Handicapped Room on the 3rd floor. The room was horrible and the AC was not working properly. My son and his wife were upset for me. "

Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. – Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"From the moment I first arrived I was greeted very warmly by the very kind representative at the front desk. Although I had arrived nearly two hours prior to my scheduled check in, she was able to get me my suite right away. What’s more, I had also asked if I could possibly get a room on an upper floor. She gave me a suite on the top floor and I could not have been more pleased.
The suite itself was perfect. It was spacious and very clean. The king sized bed was so comfortable.
The next morning I was able to partake in their delicious breakfast, offering a scrumptious buffet but also cooked to order.
As for location, this Embassy Suites DC Convention Center was perfect for me. It was just a few blocks from Metro Center and only a few blocks away from Ford’s Theater, where I was planning to see a show.
There are a number of fine restaurants and casual take-out eateries nearby so you will have no trouble finding something you like.
I loved Embassy Suites DC Convention Center so much so, I would have easily extended my stay. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of me. "

"Pretty small rooms but can’t beat the location though"

YOTEL Washington DC
6/10 Okay
"I would recommend this hotel. It was in a good location (walkable to Mall and union station) and reasonably priced. Did have a problem with bed: all beds are foldable and one of the two wouldn’t go down. Maintenance responded pretty quickly but couldn’t fix. We had to move to another room. Fine, these things happen, but I was surprised there was little effort to apologize or compensate for the inconvenience."

"All great"

Hamilton Hotel Washington DC

"The food at the restaurant wasn't so good. My food was burned."

Hotel Zena Washington DC
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room though a bit cozy. There was a random pillar structure in the middle of the room - turns out it was the shower. It's a very unique design and though the walls are opaque you can the silhouette of the person showering from the beds which can be always depending on your company. Excellent food and drink choices in the hotel restaurant and there are also lots of food options within walking distance. The pool wasn't open yet for the season but the view from the roof was beautiful anyway. All in all we would go back here again. "
