"What a lovely place. Nothing to criticise and everything to love. Beautiful setting by a branch of the mighty Mekong with a lovely pool, delightful breakfast and charming helpful staff. The British owner - Ivan - was very personable, interesting and helpful and all his team were terrific. He also owns the Apsaran on the other side of the river. He was in the wine business so he has a fantastic selection of reasonably priced wines - better than anything else we saw. The manager Han was brilliant....

The staff is very welcoming and speaks excellent English, which is convenient for things like scooter rentals. Also well located. Highly recommended!"
