"We had a most enjoyable stay at Breitner House! It was the highlight of this trip to Amsterdam (which is saying quite a lot). Camilla is a charming hostess! She proudly told us the history of the house, and served a sumptuous, delicious, and beautifully appointed full breakfast. (She thoughtfully accommodated our dietary restrictions.) "Whole property was in horrible state.. There was renovation/painting going on and the room I was supposed to stay had no ventilation so it had so much dust I got strong allergic reaction. Walls are thin like Japanese houses, sounds from toilets emanates through like you were next to the toilet seat. The corridors steep and narrow mazes and the odd joint of weed can be smelled. That place should be decommisioned. "
