"Sadly for us this hotel did not meet the standard of other Days Inns that we’ve stayed in.
While the staff who checked us is was fine and our room was clean, there were several negatives that would stop us from staying in again.
*parking was a severe challenge as in addition to being sold out, the hotel had also booked two large meeting groups.
* we arrived at night, and the parking lot and path to the hotel entrance was very poorly lit; it felt unsafe.

"I really appreciate the staff at this hotel! When I checked in, the staff member noticed I was in a small room near the elevator, and he was able to move me into a more spacious room at the end of the hall. I was blown away by how excellent it was: clean, very spacious but not too large, excellent amenities and super comfortable and quiet. While I did pop out to downtown Saint John for dinner, I was more than happy to stay in and enjoy the comforts of this room. The breakfast the next morning...

"Needs renovations, very outdated and falling apart. With the price you pay for the room you should get free parking! Thin walls, could hear the baby in the next room and doors slamming all night and morning."

"This is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. Communication is quick and timely.
The location is great for wandering into town to bars, restaurants and the waterfront. Short covered walk to the market for coffee and breakfast.
Highly recommended this place for a short stay in the Port City."

"The room was beautifully appointed in the heritage style. It featured a full kitchen and an air tub in the bathroom. There were towels folded into bird and fan shapes. The property has complimentary laundry on each floor and is conveniently located near the waterfront. There is a parkade across the street."
