"Glad of the late check-in, as we got in around 11pm. Best to checkin while light to find room at bottom of the hill. Charming area, but our activities were based in Ithaca. Great peaceful views of the lake. Very clean and updated. Very little counter space in bathroom."

"Excellent property. Staff were nice and accommodating. They managed to provide a rollaway bed even when it was raining outside. Room was clean and comfortable. It is indeed a great value for money."

"The room was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and welcoming. Not too many hotels serve breakfast, very rare. The location was great. Minutes drive from Watkins Glen Gorge, the Finger Lakes, downtown Corning and the Corning Museum. A very nice place."

"On the day after my stay in May of 2026, I got an additional charge on my bank card for $75 from the hotel. I called the hotel, and a person on staff told me it was for "amenities," which had never happened before when I stayed at this hotel. I told the staff member that I had been unaware that I would be charged this fee and that it was not listed on the fees required by Expedia. I started to tell the staff member that Country Inn and Suites needed to communicate more effectively with Expedia...
