"We have stayed at this hotel multiple times but this time the place seemed unkempt. As we entered the building to our room the trash cans were over-flowing and people left trash on the ground. The next day the trash was still there. We were put in a room for handicapped people but had not requested it. The shower was intended for someone that had to sit and use the shower; it was not convenient."

"Terrible stay. There were many men just around the property on their phones. There was very loud music till very late. The room was very dirty. I felt like I was going to fall through the floor in the bathroom. There was black mold on the bathroom wall. I felt very unsafe at this property! "

"The breakfast was fair. The AC did work, but there was no container for the grounds so I could not use the coffee pot no chair for the desk and the showerhead leaked real bad but the staff was very very nice."

"Captain's Inn at Moss Landing: What a Delightful find on Orbitz, the "last room" they claimed, the Sanctuary, out front with view of the river/ slough, with the ocean and its sounds just beyond the berm, perfect for we bird lovers. But in all honesty, any of their rooms are probably "the best", I'm sure! Every detail was thoughtful, SO comfortable: the high King bed with luxurious bedding, gas fireplace, larger multi-headed shower, nice bathrobes, even TWO suitcase racks... and the wall-of-windows view. The kitchen dining area in the main house was better than expected, with some bonus amenities. We enjoyed this Inn and tiny quiet Moss Landing very much. HOW to enter this property! My main frustration, again, is with Orbitz, as after reading the Congratulations! for making our reservation, we did not see their additional 3-4 emails about HOW to enter this property. Upon arrival, we had to call the number found on a sign, which hooray! was answered by a live person. Frustrating that we had to give all our same info to him, which Orbitz already has! We don't have to do that in any hotel! The gentleman was very patient, and finally we had the Codes to the Public areas and to our room. And my, what a room! Worth it!"
