"We enjoyed our stay here. The room was great for our family. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We liked the bar and restaurant as well as the breakfast. The blackout curtains and shades worked great- it was so nice to have a dark room in the summer in Alaska. Only minor complaints: 1)the mattress on the sofa bed was poor quality- we couldn't sleep on it; 2) more GF option would be great (bread, buns, etc)."

"Lost my reservation, took an hour to resolve. Since they lost my reservation I got what was left of rooms which was as far from the lobby as possible. Unpacked and found that part of the room was soaking wet from a water leak. Had to repack and move one room farther from the lobby. Room was very small for the price. Asked where a nearby cafe was. The staff gave directions but it was closed. Went back to the hotel and asked about a different cafe and guess what, it was closed also. I think...

"This hotel was under construction when we checked in . But the staffs were extremely helpful in everything. There is no elevator in the property but the staffs helped us carrying up & down our luggages . They even helped us loading our car . The rooms were very clean and the staffs made sure we had everything we need for our stay . Our special thanks goes to Mike & Amanda who made our stay very comfortable & memorable also ."

"Overpriced for what you get. The property was in poor condition, especially for a Marriott. The food was cafeteria-quality with very limited options, the elevators frequently malfunctioned, and some front desk staff seemed undertrained. Overall, I expected a much better experience for the price."

"Front desk person (Abby I think ) was rude when I asked a couple questions. Didn’t feel like she wanted to be bothered with tourist questions. The airport shuttle is shared so be prepared to wait and the room was overpriced for the lack of cleanliness. Wouldn’t stay again."

"We stayed at Aspen Suites at the beginning and end of our Alaska trip. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room as well as the in-room kitchenette. We would definitely book again if in the Anchorage area."
