"We really enjoyed our stay at Fantasy Island Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool area was great for relaxing, and the location was perfect. It was close to restaurants, shops, and other attractions while still being quiet and peaceful. The host was friendly and helpful, and it was clear that a lot of attention goes into making guests feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Fort Lauderdale area."

"The unit was cute and cozy and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The only issue was the army of gnats that invaded the unit and flew in my face all night and concern about the back door. The back door opens out so it’s hard to put a chair against it or a doorstop or anything to keep someone from entering or alerting you to an intruder. However, the neighborhood seemed relatively safe and I managed to lean a chair against the door so that it would fall and make a noise if somebody did...

"Kate was a very amazing manager. Helpful and friendly, going above and beyond in making sure everything was in order and that her guests ( my family) were cared for. I would highly recommend using Turtle Cove again, and we surely will!"

"We appreciate the fact that our son and his family had a seven hour wait til their flight left for home and we asked that we bring them to the hotel with us instead of waiting in the airport and it was so nice that our room was ready and they put their luggage in our room and we were all able to lounge in the big lobby and walk to a restaurant for lunch and walk to shops. Very convenient"

"The property seemed to be clean. If I could recommend a few items in the house. Vacuum/ broom, a garbage can in the bathroom curtains/ or upgraded shades. The family enjoyed the stay but definitely felt a bit uncomfortable, my boys are on the taller side and this unit was a bit tight for them. Our stay was short so give the price and the amenities it was fine. Thank you for have our family. "

"They do not provide breakfast and the bathtub didn’t work properly. The water pressure and temperature are less than desirable. But it definitely has the potential to be very nice"

"The hotel is conveniently located however the staff is all dry, cold, and not welcoming at all. Check in was dry and not pleasant as a Marriott member. The food was not tasty the salsa was thick and pasty, the bacon was too crunchy and greasy and the turkey sausage looked gross. Definitely not going to be returning or recommending."

"The staff do no answer their phones at all, they do not reply to emails. If you’re calling for reservations they will not answer. It seems as though no one answers a phone at all even when you are paying to stay there. They got back to me almost a day later about a reservation change request to add a person on a reservation I’ve already paid for. Called to get directions to the lobby, no one picked up. "The stay was prefect for the most part. The pool area was a bit messy from other guest not cleaning up after themselves. The staff on site was helpful and used a translator app to communicate with me instead of just saying "no english" I really appreciate that. Apartment 10 was very clean and smelled amazing upon entering the unit. The lock gate closet to the garbage gates handle is broken and needs fixing immediately for security. There sufficient lighting and parking on the property. Overall...
