"Staff was excellent and very friendly and personable. Building needs upkeep. An ac unit for the building would be nice. It has an indoor pool and hot and without a working hvac system the entire building felt like a sauna."

"I had a night booked, but then was evacuated due to the Aspen Acres wildfire. I attempted to cancel my stay, but there was not a way to do it online. I sent them a message, but as I booked via Expedia, they stated that I would have to reach out to them and have them reach out to the lodge.
The Expedia folks were happy to help, but they did not receive an answer from the Rainbow Lodge phone number after several attempts over several days. Bottom line is, the communication is not good with...

"We had a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.
We didn’t use the hot tub because we spent our time relaxing at the Pagosa hot springs resort instead. We only saw the staff once when we arrived, but we were busy exploring the area and didn’t need anything during our stay.
