"Overall, we liked this place, but it’s very rustic. If you think of it as upgraded cabin living, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re expecting a 5-star downtown city hotel - Just don’t. They don’t pretend to be that. It’s a lodge fair and square. Things we loved: - Friendly, fun staff. - Good value for the lower price - Upgraded, nice fixtures, amenities and appliances, comfortable bed. Everything worked great. - Full sized coffee pot, real mugs, large container of ground coffee, not little packets! Breakfast selection was awesome. Scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereals, pastries, juice and more. Beautiful location not far from town. Things that made us say “Hmmmm” : We found the room already occupied - by 5 spiders 🕷️ It’s that time of year, buuuut… - Sheets were pretty old and stained - Coffee pot still had coffee and grounds from last tenant. We stayed in the same room twice in the course of one week. The spiders had been “evicted” by our second stay. The staff is very responsive to take care of any issues. We would come back."

"Probably the best value in the area. It’s an old school motel that they fixed up and modernized. I honestly don’t think you’ll find a better place for the money in the area. Can I give it five stars? Almost. But it’s not really a five star kind of place . It’s just a really good value for the area."

"They offer a lot more than other properties in the area - a number of their own hot springs, 2 swimming pools (all-fenced), their own Jeep and ATV rentals (on premises), and a true hot buffet breakfast with many excellent-tasting selections, like a cruise ship, probably 30 or so items, not counting drinks, and they also vary it day by day. The breakfast lasts till 10:30 (so you don't need to be forced to get up early, if you want to sleep in). The rest is on par with other hotels - clean spacious rooms, quiet, good service, TVs with a good number of channels, etc. Checkout at 11 am, check-in could be done after hours (they close at 9-9:30 and leave you the keys and info). Would definitely stay again."
