I overheard guests coming back from the front desk share that it's because of "power usage." My daughter and i got dressed and used only the light in the bathroom (Only area that had power interestingly) then the power came back on. Steps leading to the second floor are taped up. "it was conveniently located, in need of an renovation. The outside the room lighting was aggressively intense with no good way to block the light from coming in the room while sleeping. This gave the room an always daylight outside vibe which was not helpful for sleep."
