"Convenient, low price, clean and the bed was comfortable. BUT the door to room 111 did not lock easily from the inside. Seemed to need more slamming shut than I cared to give it at 1 in the morning when I notice it was slightly open. A clock in a room with illuminated numbers is a must in my opinion. I'm quite small; the toilet seat was smaller. LOL."

"The first day the sausage and potatoes were really overdone. the second day the bagels were so stale that you could not pull them apart."

"This is a modest hotel. All the necessities, no luxuries but clean, welcoming and accommodating staff. We arrived with a family group of 20 from ages 5 to 75. Staff allowed us to use the breakfast room in the evening for a family meal, which we brought in. (There is no conference room). This was a perfect place for our family. Highly recommended."

"I checked online before booking. Other guests photos showed the breakfast with egg and sausages and more. But the day we were there has none of these. The only hot food was the DIY waffle. The pool was closed. The staff refused to provide extra bed sheets until we show him the existing bed sheet has yellow stain The worst part is we got bug bites during the stay. "

"Within walking distance of Corning museum of Glass, the historic gaffer district and the Rockwell museum this hotel is the perfect spot for a guests looking to explore the downtown Corning area on foot. There are tons of restaurants and a couple breweries nearby, check out iron flamingo around the corner from the hotel for some uniques brews."

Cons: peeling wall paper, wonky (but clean) toilet, stained tub. I think that a bunch of updates are happening as the 1st floor had a lot going on - did not affect our stay on the 2nd floor. Does have a gym and good sized indoor pool - but didn't use either. Has a hefty check in deposit, for somewhere outside of Miami or any other large...

"When I went to check in there was no one there. I called and no one answered. By the time they had called me back I had already had to find another place to stay. Would not recommend to anyone."
