"I found everything great other than the price. Seems very expensive for the type of motel and amenities. I booked it based on the ratings and I’m not really familiar with the area so maybe that’s the going rate for a 2 star motel."

"The place looks and feels like a rooming house. You climb up steep stairs on dinghy carpet to your room. Once in the room you kept thinking you are on a tilt. For the price I’m sure there are much better alternatives out there. I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate for accommodation."

When I checked in I was happy with the staff and the owner/manager. He was very nice and friendly but when I went into my room it appeared clean. "The room was clean but a little dated. The air conditioning worked but occasionally made a loud noise. The shower had poor water pressure but was clean and had plenty of hot water. The continental breakfast was pretty average, but nothing spectacular. It offered an arrangement of cereals, oatmeals, fruit, bread, bagels, English muffins, yogurt and some eggs. "Danby House is a very inviting bed and breakfast.
