"Upon our arrival at 2:00 PM, one hour before the stated 3:00 PM check-in time, we were informed that our room was still being cleaned. While we understood that we had arrived early, the hotel’s check-out time is 12:00 PM, which should generally provide sufficient time to prepare guest rooms.
To allow additional time, we explored the city and returned at approximately 3:05 PM. Unfortunately, we were again advised that our room was not yet ready. We were ultimately able to check in at around 3:30 PM, which was disappointing given that it was well past the advertised check-in time.
The room itself was also less inviting than expected. The walls were painted black, making the space feel quite dark, and the lighting was inadequate. There was only one hanging light in the main room and a single light fixture in the entryway, resulting in a dim atmosphere that detracted from the overall comfort of the room."
