"Room was clean bed was comfortable the lady's that clean the rooms do a great job we left one day with some dishes in the sink and when we came back they even washed our dishes the place is older but feels much more like a home along with the full size fridge and stove also a sink and everything else you need to cook with and eat plates,cups,bowls, ect if we ever make it back to maui we will definitely be staying here again"

"The pictures on Expedia do not represent the current condition of the Royal Kahana Maui by OUTRIGGER. We've stayed at other Royal locations: Royal Kona and Royal Lahina so I was expecting better. The exterior looks run down and is currently under construction. The room was the one I booked but looked older than pictured and smelled like a second hand store. Once we got over the initial shock in differences it was fine. The staff is super friendly and there was free coffee and a water dispenser...
