1. Moonflower Cottages

Randburg

"I had a great stay at Moonflower Cottages. The room was large, with a very comfortable king size bed, a sitting area, a large bathroom, and a nice kitchen space. The area is very peaceful so I had great sleep during the stay. Jamie was very forthcoming and helpful. There is a food store 250 meters from the guesthouse so you can easily find food. If you want to have a run for exercise there is a park about 10 minutes away. I can absolutely recommend Moonflower Cottages to other travellers."

"Woodlands Gardens is located near Magaliesberg. The accomodation was clean and well looked after. The common areas i.e. the pool was very nice. The owners have very friendly dogs and our dogs were welcomed and enjoyed it very much. Locates close to many hiking areas and restaurants. The owners are friendly and have good communication with guests. A little on the priciers side for what you are getting but still a great weekend away."

"Could not swim in the pool; as it was dirty; no toilet paper in room on last day of stay; no coffee in room on most days - had to ask for it; toiletries were insufficient; additional costs for airport shuttle and taxes not mentioned in advertisement; many dogs on premises and out of control - a real nuisance; no manager on site only a house-keeper; owner not responding to correspondence; owner demanding cash payment in full 2 days before departure - does not take VISA/Master card and does not...

18. Thaba Manzi Ranch

Maanhaarand

"Enjoyed the break. So Nice and quiet. The birds were the loudest noise. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Watch out for Google Maps sending you to dilapidated Kawa Manzi guest house. I would recommend to all friends and family. I would also recommend the big toe test. Lie on the main bed and measure how fast the trees grow using your big toe a measuring stick. Be Careful not to nod off while doing this apparently it happen a lot. Robbin and Jackie"
