"⚠️ Warning. This motel was absolutely filthy! Every hallway, elevator, full of debris and filth, mattresses in hallways. The room and bathroom was so filthy , hair all over shower, we went out and bought lysol to clean ourselves. It tool over 20 mins to check in as there was no one at the desk. When we called, we were told we had to wait. They were unable to issue a refund since it was booked through Expedia. It was honestly appalling. Not just a little messy, absolutely filthy and the smell...

"We enjoyed our room at Americas Best Value Inn in Scarborough Main. It was easily accessible, quiet, very clean and comfortable.."

"The room was disgustedly dirty very very nasty. If we did not get there so late I would’ve never stayed there. I had two nights booked barely could get through the first night. Beds were so uncomfortable. The springs were sticking out of them. The place was a dump disgustingly dirty I would not want my dogs to stay there."

"This is your typical roadside motel with some updates like fridge, microwave, coffee machine, Prime TV & the beds were comfortable. I like nostalgia & this place didn't disappoint. 😊 The pool & game room were fun too. Having an indoor pool is great for a place like Maine where the weather can change any minute. We will stay there again."

"Great location for the price. Could use some updating. Have stayed here a couple times and will stay again. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Has a pool but never used it since the ocean is across the street. Close to everything."
