"Our room was in the newer wing and had a great view. The room was large, clean and modern. We stayed for three nights and had dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant was was very good given the few options available."

The Drumbeg Hotel

"The hotel is not large, and whilst our room was clean and well maintained, was on the small side. The owner, who manned the reception desk and the bar, was quite a congenial, chatty guy. Breakfast was part of the tariff, & we were offered a choice of cooked options. We eat dinner at the Drumberg, the owner’s wife cooked up ‘haggis neeps and tatties”, which were pretty good. Best feature of the hotel was the bar area, a cosy place where the hotel guests gathered to chat in the evening. Overall I recommend the Drumbeg Hotel as a small boutique hotel on the beautiful North Coast 500 road."

"What a treat it was to stay here. A very warm welcome, clear helpful instructions to enter when we arrived a little earlier than expected. The room is very comfortable with two easy chairs which is unusual. A coffee maker with a wide choice of pods plus a kettle with tea and coffee. Everything is spotlessly clean and good quality. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it."

"I only stayed for one night - the room was very comfortable, had an en-suite bathroom and kettle with tea/coffee etc. Continental breakfast was brought to my room on a tray and the host was very helpful with directions for a shortcut to walk down into Ullapool. The house is on a quiet street just off the main road. Would recommend."
