"Hotel staff, bar and restaurant staff were pleasant. The room was clean when we arrived on Sun. The next morning we noticed the bathroom floor was wet due to splashing from a dripping shower head. We reported it and requested more towels to replace the ones we used to sop up the water on the floor which we did receive. We also requested housekeeping on Mon. which we never received. We requested housekeeping again on Tues. and were told they were short handed and that no one was receiving housekeeping that day. I reminded them we actually requested it on Mon. and Tues. I could make my own bed but certainly didn't think I would need to clean the bathroom or sweep up sand. The staff was apologetic but that doesn't help the situation."
"The room was sparkling clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Reason for not perfect stars is because the vinyl floor was weirdly wet. Not sure if it was condensation from hot humid day, but regardless the floor was positively wet. Clean but wet. Not just moist, wet enough to make socks damp."
