"Positives-secluded spot that is perfect to see northern lights, which we saw. Neighbor cat greets guests. Breakfast was included. Check in and check out was easy. They had a towel warmer which allowed me to handwash and dry clothes. I did that. The windows opened so I wasn't too hot. There was also a nice closet with hangers to help dry clothing after hiking. I wish we stayed there longer. Negatives: not perfectly clean. There was a dip in the shower which collected water that would pool and...

"The Old Post office was a large guesthouse very close to the Kirkjufell waterfall and mountai. The mountain was well seen from the guesthouse. The rooms were quite large, with private bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small but ok for a simple meal. The whole place was very clean. We liked staying there."

"Our room on the first floor was very good. Charming, traditional guesthouse style. The kitchen is cramped but well stocked with breakfast options and cookware. Try to arrive while it’s still light outside, the signs can be easily missed. I would stay here again for the comfort and peaceful atmosphere."

"We had such an amazing stay at Holt Inn! Cindy was the sweetest host and really made our stay special. She was super friendly, gave us great recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. We were the only guests there during the winter season, but she still made us a whole breakfast buffet with warm pastries in the morning and really good coffee. 🥐☕️ She also let us borrow bikes to ride down to the beach, which had incredible views. The whole area was unreal - surrounded by fjords and ocean,...
