"I would stay at the Gasthof Schoenegg B&B again in a heartbeat. For a true Swiss Chalet like experience this is it. The view from our corner room was something out of a dream. We slept with the windows open so we woke up to mountain views on each side every morning. The attention to detail for the breakfast is incredible. "Our room was in the basement in a building next to the main hotel. Room was on the small side but had a good layout. Check in was a bit confusing as main hotel entry where you check in is one street level above room access and not directly connected. Breakfast was great and staff were nice and helpful. Good central location with easy access to all of Zermatt which is very walkable (but watch out for small electric taxis everywhere who do not care about pedestrians)."
