"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "We gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy. The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it. "

"We booked two rooms for a one night family stay. The hotel is basic but had everything we needed and was comfortable. We used the restaurant in the evening and the food (pizza, wrap) was good. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. What really lifted the stay was the performance and attitude of the staff. Friendly and really helpful. Attentive at dinner and breakfast. A real effort at breakfast to keep items replenished and make sure people had what they wanted. Just before the end of breakfast staff made sure everyone knew the buffet was about to close, so they could go to get anything else they wanted. "
