"The homeless people on the streets made us feel very uneasy. The restaurant looked like it's been closed for years. And at the base of the stairs to go up to our room, there was a cordoned off room that was shut down for asbestos. Our room wreaked of Febreeze, which was a little nauseating, but the bed sheets were very clean and comfortable and the room was actually quite spacious. "Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. "Small town, older motel. It had what we needed but it may not work for everyone. Spent one night before flying out. Might be wise to stay closer to the international airport as the highways can be congested. "
