Just when I thought the stay couldn’t been less enjoyable, the shower in the morning was a constantly fluctuating hot, cold, hot, cold… Then during checkout time there’s not a single staff member in sight and just a key drop box, like they’re purposely hiding to not have to deal with the complaints in person. "Great motel in Franz Josef. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. There is on site laundry and everyone who worked there was super nice. "

"There is native bush nearby, Haast is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. I have not seen a pool nor heard anyone talk about it. The room was tidy and quite clean. I found the man who helped us during check in and who works at the bar of the pub friendly and kind. Cleaning staff were using the vacuum cleaner before 8am, that was a bit early I found."
