"staff told me that I had a room credit that could be used for food and beverages. upon check out, i had not been comped the credit that i was told i had by front desk staff. i later called the property and talked to the manager and told her that her staff said I had a credit for my room but had not been credited. although the mistake was on her end, she was only willing to reverse 1 $30 charge, though I had charged $90 total. completely unacceptable. thankfully i called my credit card and got all charges reversed (;"

"This hotel is undergoing heavy construction. The email they sent after I booked said "light construction" but our hotel didnt have water or cable when we checked in. The receptionist offered a refune since amenities werent available. She said I had to contact expedia first. So my party canceled and got a new hotel. The hotel is now not responding to Expedia. I recommend going somewhere else. "

"The property has no one on site, so if you need anything there is no one. Its like a house share, but upscale- you are sharing a house with strangers. There was no hot water for tea. Our outlets in our room didn't work- we tried the switches on the wall. Otherwise it is beautiful place comfy beds, clean and interesting."

What really stood out was the design: everything was thoughtfully curated, with a mix of vintage pieces and antique-style decor that gave the whole place a lot of character without feeling overdone. Location is also a big plus. it’s super close to the museums and the Plaza, so getting around was really easy. For the price, this is a really solid experience.
