La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Rosenberg
5/5 Excellent
"Stayed here for one night. I didn’t use the pool or gym — honestly, they looked a bit run-down.
When you enter the hotel, you’re greeted by a couple of cats (apparently pets of someone on staff). They were eating out of a clean bowl — didn’t bother me, but worth noting.
Check-in staff were friendly and clear about why they needed my credit card — I appreciated the transparency. The room itself was decent, quite large for the price, and clean overall. I could even see my car parked from the window, which was a plus. The AC and TV worked well, though the phone didn’t connect to the number I dialed.
The bathroom was a bit of a concern — low water pressure, and I found a few hair strands on the floor, though it looked like someone had made an attempt to clean it.
Breakfast was disappointing — 2/5. Very limited options for vegetarians — not even a basic potato side on a Saturday morning. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very kind and easy to talk to."
