"I thought I was booking a room at the historic McMenamin's Gearhart Hotel. Our room ended up being in the annex next door. I asked if I clicked to choose the annex accidentally and was told that they randomly book folks into there. I should have called to specify. Oh, I didn't know. Next time."

"Second time here at the Inn by Seaside! We live coming here. We had a very late check in and the night staff was awesome. He made us laugh after and it was needed after a stressful 12 hour drive. Check out time is great. Allows you to get some extra relaxation after breakfast (which was good as well). Staff is friendly and room was clean and bed were comfortable. Close to the main attractions of Seaside. Definitely will be back again next time we visit Seaside,OR."

"The room was comfortable; plenty of seating, good view. It was a bit warm, but windows were opened wasn't too bad (no A/C, but okay when we were there). Breakfast options were good, warm and tasty. Just wish there was more space to sit down in the little dining area. Staff was excellent, friendly and kind. Our keys stopped working at one point, but gladly rekeyed for us in no time. Also called for an extra blanket for pull-out, came to the door very quickly. Parking was really full and hard...

"We enjoyed our stay, but on our way home received a $50 charge without any notice or invoice. When I reached out, I was told we were being charged for a blanket that had a burn hole and was “coated in sand”. I informed them that we noticed a burn hole in the blanket when we opened it up to use it on the sofa bed, but didn’t complain since it had been laundered. No one in my family smokes, we only used their blankets on the coach and beds. We brought a beach blanket from home to use outside. They...
