"This was a very nice place to stay, and I would recommend it overall. However, we did experience a few issues at check‑in with the young woman assisting us.
We were originally assigned a room in the main building on the second floor, which we preferred, but she changed it at the last minute to a different building. That wasn’t a major problem, but she also explained that the hotel collects taxes separately and needed my credit card. I had already paid the full amount through Travelocity, and she assured me—twice—that I would not be charged anything beyond what Travelocity had already collected.
After returning home, I saw on my credit card statement that we were indeed charged the additional tax.
While we enjoyed the hotel and the stay itself, it was disappointing to be charged more than what we were clearly told to expect."
