"This is an old property. You can tell that at one point it was an outright gem. Even so, it still has a lot of character and some great people working there. My first room wasn't the cleanest... "The room was spacious and clean. There was a decent breakfast to wake up to. There were plenty of linens. The only thing that kept me from a 5 on everything was that the tiles in the room were warped. I would definitely stay again."

"The 7th floor had a very unique smell. Mildew and mold all the way down the hall. The bathrooms were tiny, and did not have exhaust fans in it. The towels were frayed and ratty looking. The hot tub looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in about 6 months, and smelled like mildew and unclean bodies. And Double tree was known for their cookies upon check in. No COOKIE AT CHECK IN! The bed was comfortable tho."

There were broken cabinets in my room, a broken air conditioner and some of the carpeting tack strips are getting thin meaning I could feel the sharp points at times. The staff members were nice although not always able to be helpful. "The room was clean and comfortable. However whenever we flushed the toilet, we had to lift the toilet top and fix it so that it would fill the tank. Also, the elevator was working correctly. It took 6 minutes for the doors to close and then it jerked the whole time it was going up and down. We said something to the front desk and their answer was...yeah, it does that...??!!"
