Absolutely great value. Hotel is clean, staff were great and with complementary drinks / snacks in the evening ( maybe no always available, I don't know) and a good cooked breakfast, this was great value. Also in a really nice area for restaurants (need a car).

Great location for travellers self driving. 30 mins from Atlanta Airport car rentals 30 mins from Sonia, walking dead tv series. Shops and restaurants within walking distance and 10 minutes drive. Perfect for start or end if using Atlanta international airport.

Great property grounds, indoor pool was heated, friendly staff, really nice room. Only thing which could be improved is the breakfast could be fresher

Great hotel.

The Verandah is a very special hotel in a perfect little town. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and wished that we could have stayed longer. It reminded us a little of the hotel in Groundhog day but rather smarter and more historic - staying here forever would certainly be more dream than nightmare.
