Top Wicklow Historic Gaol Hotel Reviews
Clayton Hotel Charlemont Dublin City
8/10 Good
"Very nice stay, Located a little outside of where all the attractions are but, a short walk/taxi away. Helpful staff, clean property, great restaurants on site."
The Plaza Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Plaza has spacious and comfortable rooms with long baths and soft carpets! Furnishings and fittings are good quality. The buffet breakfast is amazing: fresh and nutritious food attractively displayed. The restaurant is good in its service and food but it was uncomfortable on Saturday night for it to be the location of a noisy party."
Marlin Hotel Stephens Green
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean room, property and staff was nice and helpful. Easy check in also. Great location near restaurants, bars and shops. You can easily walk to ALL locations!"
The Devlin Dublin
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay, easy check in , good facilities Will deffo return"
St. Helen's Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotels, grounds and restaurants were wonderful. All staff was attentive. This is out of their control but the two nights we stayed, there were drunk girls screaming, yelling, and slamming doors in the hallway at 1am both nights. This reminds us why we stay at rental properties unfortunately."
The Leinster
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent especially the breakfast"
citizenM Dublin St. Patrick's
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel near center of city. Staff was great"
Keavans Port
10/10 Excellent
"This restored historic building and it's atrium/bar is a gorgeous must-see! Truly acknowledges the local history in all of the decor which celebrate its stained glass. Using the original (combined together now) terraced buildings does mean more connecting doors and 1-3 steps up or down in two places when walking down the long hotel corridors. It does have an elevator and my 90 year old father managed fine with our help. On the plus side, on the ground floor, that also meant lots of quiet little "private rooms" for meals if you prefer some quiet or even a family-sized dining room. There is single-paned glass too, due to rules about not being able to alter the room dividers and windows historic buildings, but there was only occasional noise from patrons of the large pub across the street, and not too late. (Perhaps a bit later on weekends). But because taxi drivers use pub names as their primary navigational markers, the Bleeding Horse pub built in the 1600s is known by them all. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly and there is a 24-hour reception desk. The food is good and not overpriced. And the neighborhood is safe with plenty of buses going into the city centre , the green LUAS (light rail transit) nearby or you could walk to the main attractions on the south side of the city within 12-20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!"
Herbert Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice property and area. Outstanding staff. Please note there is construction on one side. Best to avoid that side."
