"This property is great. Parking is plentiful and it’s quiet. The staff are lovely and the rooms and public spaces are nice. The bar is in the restaurant so we never used it (which is probably good - the restaurant always seemed full). On that note, we did eat in the restaurant and it was very good. The roasts looked amazing. We did picky bits from starters and sides and all were lovely. The breakfast is good. It can get busy and the scrambled eggs are sometimes quite wet (but not always)....

"Clifden, Abbeyglen castle and this part of the west coast of Ireland are absolutely stunning. Don’t miss the Prosecco Welcome and the hotel owners talk on the history of the local area and Abbeyglen Castle itself. It was absolutely fascinating, occasionally humorous and brought everything to life. The owner remembered our names from the moment we were introduced. Very rare! I’ve travelled globally for business 2 out of 4 weeks for the past 15 years. I’ve stayed in some fantastic hotels around...

"Great location! We were able to walk the city so easily! The rooms were small, but we knew that going into the reservation. The beds were comfortable and they had water for us in the fridge which was very thoughtful. We only ate breakfast once down in the restaurant and they had a lot to offer! The bar /coffee shop/restaurant vibe is super cool. The only complaint I have is that the day we arrived, the elevator stoped working, so every time we needed to go back to our room, it was a three floor...

"Spotless, very well-equipped cabin in the most stunning location. The views of the Atlantic and Downpatrick head are stunning. The cabin is extremely well heated and the WiFi connection is perfect. Hob, fridge, microwave, toaster available within the pod to bring your own food and cook as needed. One of my favourite spots I have stayed in Ireland!"
