Valley River Inn

"The courtyard view is really nice and if you sit on the deck/patio attached to your room you can see your neighbors and everyone walking down the elevated hallway. I do like how you can traverse most of the hotel without going outside though am a little annoyed that half of the parking lot is exposed to the nearby mall and very busy streets. I'll have to "splurge" to get a river view room next time though I'm not sure it is worth the extra cost. In fact, I only found the property affordable due to an expedia cash discount and ended up eating at the nearby mall due to a limited and overpriced menu at the onsite cafe. Def a property for travelers not concerned about keeping dollars in their pocketbook but, despite this one of the nicer places I have seen in the area due to available options and proximity to the freeway."

"Clean room and comfortable bed. Good shower. Helpful staff. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and the room was on the third floor. Parking was easy. Well lighted area that felt safe at night and had a couple late night spots to eat at. Looks like a cool area to explore in the daytime."

"The hotel was clean and offered excellent amenities. However, the hallway near our room was quite noisy, and we were woken up around 7:00 a.m. by guests shouting and running through the hallways. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this may be something to consider when booking. Otherwise, the hotel was great overall, and we appreciated the cleanliness and facilities."
