Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center
8/10 Good
"Check-in on October 3 was chaotic. I arrived at the hotel at 4:30 PM and my room was not ready. A long line of customers formed, most being told the same, that the room was not ready. Once I was able to check in to my room around 5 PM, I found the room itself was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. During my 6 night stay, I attempted to use the business center to print boarding passes, but the printer was out of service. I was later able to send them to the front desk to have them printed there. I also used the laundry room, where one of the 2 washing machines was out of order. I had to wait another day to find the one remaining machine clear for my use. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful, though there was one front desk clerk who was a bit curt. I ordered room service dinner once and breakfast in the bistro once -- neither meal was particular good, but the servers were friendly and fast."

Mark Spencer Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Good location for walking around downtown Portland! Older building, but well-maintained. The parking garage is kind of tight quarters for a midsize SUV, would recommend other parking arrangements if you have a larger vehicle. Staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and put our bags in safe storage when we arrived hours before check-in time."
The Duniway Portland A Hilton Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel was clean and offered excellent amenities. However, the hallway near our room was quite noisy, and we were woken up around 7:00 a.m. by guests shouting and running through the hallways. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this may be something to consider when booking. Otherwise, the hotel was great overall, and we appreciated the cleanliness and facilities."
