Staff was unaccommodating. The Staff acted as though they had better things to do than serive the patrons. Regardless of the request weather it was bottle water for the room, clean towels, or just plain toilet tissue it was at least a three to four hour wait if the request was fulfilled at all. For example requested a chicken club sandwich at midnight and did not receive it till almost 4am and thats after I had to personally come down and find a staff member working the kitchen. Which at that point the staff member made the sandwich in front of me in mere minutes, 8 to be exact. So what was the hold up from midnight till 3:30am, if I never came to request and wait for the food in person would i have ever received it? Mind you room service is stated to be open fron midnight to 6am. This service is completely unacceptable for the prices expected for the patrons of the Dreams Resort to pay.

The bathroom needs some love, sheets had some holes on it, the staff are not nice at all, nobody ask you if you need anything, you serve yourself, really bad compare to other countries that I have been, there is a lot of noises at night, did not like it at all.

The resort is gorgeous, and it really is a true all-inclusive. However, the rooms are dated and very lackluster. I was very disappointed that my room did not have a bathtub. Drinks 10/10. Food at the specialty restuarants 9/10. Breakfast Buffet 8.5/10 Lunch and Dinner Buffet 6.5/10

Really loved the pod concept. Having access to dreams and Zoetry was a nice bonus. Adult infinity pool was really nice. Staff were overall friendly but slow (which is fine, I get it). Food at Zoetry and the adults only part of dreams very good. Breakfast buffet at dreams was decent. I get why people complain about the food but when you’re in a foreign country and eating at an all inclusive it kind of is what it is. Top shelf liquor at adult pool was a nice bonus and the bartenders made really good drinks, they made anything I asked for and it was all really good! I liked that you could walk off the resort and still feel safe. The nearby beach and restaurants were a nice change up. Definitely rent a car and explore all the island has to offer. Beautiful country with friendly people. I don’t like to return to locations because the world is vast and time is limited but I would return here. My only criticism is the butler service (which was heavily advertised) was a little lacking. They were great at making reservations to restaurants but when we asked for drinks or room service they always seemed to be out of everything or it never came. We aren’t huge “butler” people so it wasn’t a big deal but just something to be aware of.

the property was nice . the staff at the front desk was also very helpful and nice but the staff in the food court was rude. and act as if we as the guests could not ask a question. Didn’t appreciate that because we spent our hard working money to be comfortable

IL Mare is the private section for all the beach bungalows. The rest of the resort is not allowed over there. It has 24 hour butler service. It was the most amazing trip we’ve taken. The shoreline is a reef and full of tropical fish for snorkeling. The bartenders and butlers were amazing over there. This is a little bit smaller of a resort and was so relaxing and chilled out. If you want a crazy 24 hour party, this is not the resort for you. There was always activity, but you could go and sit and relax and have it quiet around you any time of day. so much food and drink options. We felt we needed to stay more than one week so we could experience all the different food on the menu. If you’re going to this resort, spend the money and stay in the bungalows. It is worth every single penny. You will leave with absolutely no regret. 24hr room service. We rented a car and drove into the downtown. Was easy. ABC rentals dropped the car off right in the parking lot for us and picked it up from there. We literally had nothing to worry about the entire week. The worst part about this resort is having to leave at the end of your vacation. It was heartbreaking to leave because we had the best time.

The rooms were nice enough with a giant window with an ocean view. The beach was very nice with crystal clear water and bunches of fish that came begging to be fed. The worst points were two of the three on-site restaurants. Porto Fino and the steak house were awful. We nearly cancelled after our first experience with the "Italian" place. Service was absurdly bad. 20 minutes before our water glass was filled, meal took a very long time to arrive and it came out cold and lukewarm. The steak place was bad too. Fortunately, there were other real restaurants within easy walking distance for a price. The only highlight in on-site food was the seafood place which acted like a real restaurant, had tasty dishes and prompt service.

This resort had really bad reviews and I dont understand it. It was a great stay. We stayed on the il mare side, but were also at the dreams side. The beds were comfortable, view amazing, property beautiful. Entertainment average. The buffet was not the greatest but no other complaints. Staff amazing. It sounds like there are more resturants than there is....there is 2 on the dreams side, one at ill mare if u stay there (those are the upgraded pods on the beach that are amazing), and one at zoetry if u stay at il mare u can use also.

Schone mooie kamer , eerste kamer had een technisch probleem maar is geweldig opgelost door personeel en we kregen er super mooie kamer inclusief champagne en ballonnen voor terug dus mega goede service, personeel is aardog en behulzaam al met al top vakantie hier en mooi resort we komen einde van het jaar 100^ terug

The property was amazing, the views of the water from the Bungalow were breathtaking. Dream iMare made my birthday unforgettable from the room decoration, to the steak & lobster dinner on the beach. The massages we received while there were extraordinary. This resort is a 5 star experience and I can’t wait to come back. Our Butlers Shakiel, Sheny, and Gio were absolutely amazing and had wonderful hospitality.

The best thing about this property is not the man-made - the incredibly beautiful beach! The hotel itself doesn’t really match a 5-star standard. The food was also fairly basic and not tasty. And what is wrong with the interconnecting door in the room - you can hear your neighbors every breath and more…

Bathroom was gross, water pressure was very low. Toilet was an issue. Room is ok. Food is trash. No selection. Drinks bottom of the line liquor. We had to leave resort to eat for our last few nights. Staff was good by the bar and restaurant. Front desk never answered the phone and were not accommodating. I asked for a robe and the lady said can it wait until tomorrow??? Beach is nice. Pool is small. Lastly no entertainment or disco. Resort was completely closed at 10 pm each night.

Clean room , nice staff. The “pods” were a bit odd and the butler service, while a nice touch, was not really coordinating with the rest of the team. The “all inclusive” part was not that great in terms of quality and choice of food. The il mare concept should be reviewed as it is certainly different and not for everyone
