"The room was fine but the motel was showing signs of age. The room was also small and an unnecessary table was making it feel smaller. The air conditioner kept the room tolerable but it mostly cooled the front part and didn't circulate to the bathroom. Parking was awkward as there was often no space in front of the room and once, not much room along the side to park. The grab n go breakfast was good and the coffee at the office was
excellent. I saw 3 roaches(after living in Florida I was expecting them), 1 was dead and I killed one (tiny one under coffee pot). The last day another tiny one peeked out from under the coffee pot. One bug was unidentified crawling by the window drapes.(Again, Florida). Overall, I would stay again for the amazing shower. It's a standup corner rain head shower. Also the pool was wonderful. I went in early and had it to myself. The staff was very accommodating. The bed was super comfy. One concerning incident, the lamp on the wall next to the bed seemed to have a problem once. I turned it off but when I moved around it would buzz and flicker on. I feel like I didn't push the button firmly in the center because I only experienced the problem once and once I turned it off again firmly, never again. "
"Here is the honest truth I went on Google and left a Google review the next morning I have a dog I am like most Americans very concerned about my finances today and I pick my hotels based on price first I was shocked at this Motel 6 now it's outdated and old but it was immaculately clean and usually when I go into a bad hotel room with my dog my dog runs around and finds stuff to eat all over the place and she can't settle down cuz there's so many smells in the room my dog walked around the room couldn't find anything to eat settle down easy and went to sleep it was quiet clean close to the highway the least expensive place in the neighborhood and you know it's not in fancy hotel it's a cheap hotel but it was clean it was safe the gentleman at the front door was pleasant and greeted me with a smile and the room was clean it was clean and if I'm driving by with my dog and I need a place to stay around there I would go back in a second it was one of the better Motel 6 that I've stayed in and some of the other hotels in that neighborhood look pretty damn Shady so that's the honest truth you get what you pay for and in this place it was a good deal"
"I asking for a full refund from Hotels.com as I was refused by the front desk for a refund. I arrived at the hotel and assigned a room. We went to the room and the smell was overly bad. A mix of years of smoking mold smell. The bathroom looked as if was never updated in 40 years. The exterior of the building looked like it was hit by a hurricane three times over and just painted over to hide its damage and age. Several rooms near my assigned room looked as if people lived in them long term. (actually this location would be great for low income housing and not a hotel) Outside we saw a bunch of people just hanging out smoking. The whole place did not look safe for my family. All the pictures found on Hotels.com did not properly represent the business. I went back to the desk, asked for my money back.. She told me to contact Hotels.com. I left her the key and we found a different place to stay. I can not believe Wyndham / Baymont actually let this place use it name. It's a disgusting place."
