"This is not a fancy-schmancy hotel but it was perfect for a birder on a budget and had everything I needed at half the price of the place up the street. Well, almost everything - a blow dryer would have made it perfect! The check-in dude was funny and helpful and there's an EV charging station just down the street so I'd definitely stay here again. But think about adding blow dryers. Even birders like to look their best!"

The breakfast was incredible (always), so many choices for hot or cold breakfast and what makes it stand out above the other hotels is that the hot breakfast choices change daily and you can build a grab and go bag if your on the run and cant sit down for breakfast. "We stayed in Chico during a 2 week road trip in Northern California. Our room was perfect for what we needed, a nice sofa to lounge and watch some TV shows, good WiFi connection, spacious bathroom, clean and cozy bed, and blackout shades. We were a bit hungry and the cafe provided options we found appealing and tasty for dinner. Recommend the location as it is close to major retailers in case you need to resupply."
