Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!

There was no breakfast offered. Ice machines were broken on each floor. Beware there are NO refrigerators in the rooms. Hair dryers are extremely weak. WOULD NOT STAY THERE SGSIN FIR THE PRICE A FOR WHAT IS OFFERED!

The elevator was broken. Had to take stairs from 4th floor for 2 days. Keurig coffee machine broken in room and they couldn’t replace it so they wanted us to change rooms for a working keurig. The room was not cleaned on second day. House keeping was absent. Front desk was not occupied. Horrible ...

Clean room and nice set up with decor. They were doing painting and renovations to the pool which was properly noted on the website. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet hotel for a nice getaway.
