"Always amazing"

"I was very much looking forward to my stay the the Hotel , it was a treat for myself as i was attending a wedding over the weeknd However i dont think i will be back any time soon :-( I stayed in room 16 and there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom ( not sure what is was ) but I had definitely no sleep at all. Reported to reception but they seem not be bothered at all. Also very loud noise in the evenings. Seen few men's in they underwear running up and down. The corridor knocking to...

"The common area was clean as was the linen. Staff was non existent did not realise was a self service accomodation. Parking was there but I did not need it. The room carpet could do with shampoo and the cupboard with dusting . The bathroom fixture though looked new could do with upgrade.. ."

For the last couple of nights of my stay, there was heavy music and loud conversations continuing into the early hours of the morning, which was completely unacceptable for a hotel environment. "Solo traveller - peaceful night in a very comfortable bed and spacious room. Cleanliness up to speck with crisp white bedding and fluffy towels. Wonderful breakfast with tasty locally sourced bacon. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve chosen the Derby Arms for a stay over now, for a fussy traveller it fits the bill beautifully! Central location for Longridge/Ribble Valley."

"Perfect bolthole. It feels like stepping into a nicer universe. We stayed in a yurt again, and admittedly, the ensuite is rustic and chilly as you would expect but the main yurt was cosy and luxe even when the weather was cold. Staying on a Thursday night meant food was available and live entertainment!"

"Our room was immaculate and very quiet even altho it was in close proximity to the lift. Breakfast the next morning was very good with food levels monitored carefully so that hot food was replenished to match how busy the restaurant was"

"Quirky with some lovely staff in the evening in the restaurant. The gardens are also beautiful but small things could really enhance the hotel to get more from its potential. My stay improved after a few small disappointments. The room was warm and quiet. "The accommodation was very good. Breakfast whilst adequate, was not as varied as I’ve had elsewhere. Eg. Scrambled eggs or no eggs. Hotel not easy to find by car and sat nav. Mine gave up. Haven’t seen so many no entry signs in such close proximity and never seen a “Bus gate” before. Beware of this as sat nav’s want to take you through it. DON’T GO there. I’ll probably have a ticket on the mat when I get home. Only one disabled car parking bay and that was coned off. Arriving by train? Not easy...

"Absolutely perfect! Stayed here with my brothers for a birthday gathering and family get together. The rooms are lovely with everything you need, staff are friendly and helpful, food (breakfasts and evening meals) plentiful and tasty. Great value!"
