"Our stay was an utter disappointment. I booked this one as a treat for me and my mother, as she hasn't travelled for 15 years. It was no where near my experience of a 4 star. More comparable to one of the many budget hotels I've been in, with the exception of a comfier bed (one of the few good things!).
There were scuffs on walls, huge chips out of furniture, mould around the bath, and mouldy window frames which were excellent for letting in freezing air all night 👌
The pool was also tiny. I can't speak for the other facilities.
We paid extra for a 'superior room', and we even questioned whether we'd been put in the wrong room! When I asked, I was informed that it was superior, which is basically a twin room with the beds pushed together?? Since when does that constitute as superior? The view of the carpark really topped it off.
We had to request a shorter stay because of the disappointment, but were refused."
