The 8 hour drive from Adelaide back to Melbourne was more interesting than I expected. The Pink Lake near Dimboola was the perfect place to stretch our legs and explore. Since there was hardly any water in the lake, we were able to walk on the hard crystallized salt and enjoy the vast beauty. Don’t forget your sunnies in the car as it was overwhelmingly bright when we visited! #SMDdoesOZ #Australia
Free camp at the side of the pub, toilets available plus a SHOWER!!! Will have to partake our hosts wares later on, bring it on.
On my way to "Coopers Crossing", the home of The Flying Doctors. Coopers Crossing is only a fictional town and the real name of the town is Minyip. It is located in Victoria, Australia. Definitely worth a visit of you are a fan of The Flying Doctors.

This is a good place to stay - my room, while small and basic was very clean, quiet and felt safe. I didnt use the outside BBQ or gathering space, but it looked friendly. Air Conditioning was working fine Room was just Okay. Parking was Easy just right in front of your room. Motel Building is an Old Motel. In the bathroom and in the corner of our beds was lots of midges and there wasnt any spray handy in the room to deal with them.

Good for overnight stay, cabin clean and comfortable! Copped bad wind and road noise and place was bit barren but pool and play area was good for kids! Be good to have bit of shade over jumping pillow and most things in rec room were out of order! Not likely to return
