"I paid in full for my hotel stay at Hilton Garden (Windhoek) through Expedia 10 days before the trip. Somehow, the hotel managed to charge my credit card a second time for the same stay (almost 600 dollars) and remained unresponsive to emails and calls to this day. It feels like a scam. The hotel also would not respond to inquiries from Expedia about the money they took from me, Luckily Expedia ended up reimbursing the second amount themselves. "Water was cutt off from the main supply from windhoek municipality and there were NO drinking water available on the premises, not even in the room, bar or restaurant. The next morning still no water accept a 5L brown muddy water to flush the toilet. Pls add a bottle of drinking water to your rooms for incase of emergency or late nights. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and room. Thank you very much."
