So me and my wife stayed here for about a week and it was amazing from the day we showed up it was the best experience we have ever had before so we had our babysitter fall thru halfway through our stay and they offered to bring her there with us ok that's good but then they even offered to watch her a bit the owner Lowell actually took her out for a date night while me and the wife spent the evening together like I can't appreciate him enough he was amazing with her and the other staff that helped out with her while we stayed thank you all so much we appreciate you all so much and let's get to the room it was very clean and it looked beautiful it was the best experience and all the kindness that went around I couldn't believe that it existed anymore we love you guys at mariaggis theme suite and hotel thank for the best experience of a lifetime ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at Mariaggi’s Hotel in Winnipeg and would highly recommend it to travellers looking for something far more distinctive than a standard hotel experience. What really makes this hotel special is its uniqueness. The rooms have so much character and atmosphere, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully designed to be memorable rather than simply functional. It is a great choice for a romantic getaway, special occasion, or for anyone who wants to stay somewhere with personality and a sense of occasion. The manager also deserves special recognition. The service was welcoming, professional, and attentive, and it was clear that genuine care goes into making sure guests have a positive experience. Good management can make a huge difference to a hotel stay, and that was certainly the case here. One useful detail for other travellers: I booked my stay through Expedia, but the charge on my credit card appeared as a direct charge from the actual hotel. I personally appreciated this, as it was beneficial for the way my credit card handles hotel purchases and made the transaction clearly identifiable as being from the property itself. For anyone planning a visit to Winnipeg, I would definitely suggest considering Mariaggi’s if you value individuality, memorable surroundings, and personal service. It offers something genuinely different from the usual chain-hotel experience, and I will be returning again

Most memorable stays I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything I needed, which really set the tone for the entire stay. The room itself was a highlight. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, with plenty of character and attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were fresh, and everything was kept in excellent condition throughout. Housekeeping did a great job of maintaining the room without ever feeling intrusive. I also appreciated the overall atmosphere of the property. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a warm, inviting environment rather than just a generic place to sleep. Whether I was returning from a long day or just relaxing on‑site, the space felt relaxing and well‑run. Location was another strong point, with easy access to nearby amenities, dining, and whatever I needed during my stay. It made both work and downtime convenient and stress‑free.

A well maintained hotel with staff and owners who care. When we arrived they were kind and helpful, assisting us in parking in their parkade and taking our bags to our room. As we were shown around the hotel we were told of its rich and fascinating history. When we got to our room (we booked the japan themed room) it was set up with a comfortable ambiance of low lighting and gentle music. This was our first night away together since having kids over a decade ago and we were hoping for something special. The Mariaggi delivered fully. We have never stayed a hotel with such amenities and it was well worth it!
