"This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...

"The hotel is in very poor condition. There is no closet in the room. It definitely shouldn't be on your website with a 4.6 rating. We didn't stay there. As soon as we saw the condition of the hotel, we cancelled."

"This property does welcome dogs. Free for one and 15 clams for to. 80 pound limit per dog. There is limitted and tight truck parking. Property was clean and staff more than accommodating. Would definitely stay again!"

"Tylee at front desk and Jessica in breakfast area were topnotch and both were recent hires. Excellent customer service skills. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Parking staff accessible and safe. Breakfast was far beyond usual. Cheese omelets, sausage links, grits, bagels, cranberry scones, muffins, waffles surprisingly good. Very clean - ranked 100% by health department which I have never seen before. Would definitely stay at another Hampton Inn and hope it measured up to this...

"This place was disgraceful. I wish I had taken pictures. First the steps to the second floor (no elevator) were a hazard, steel plates loose, one missing altogether with crumbling concrete and black adhesive exposed. Front door was banged up and lock had a 3/4 inch hole like it had been broken in to. Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Toilet paper holder and tissue holder fell out of wall when used, windows were so dirty I closed blinds so I would not have to see them. Draperies were crumbled and...

"My reservation had been cancelled and I wasn’t aware of it. They said they had been overbooked. Guys at the front desk were very apologetic. It was odd that they were overbooked and cancelled my reservation but offered me a room for $240 when I had only paid $92. It was graduation weekend at ECU. My guess is they knew they could get more for the room that weekend and that’s why they cancelled reservations. I refused to pay $240 a night at this hotel. Expedia finally got them to let them book...
